Lancaster Bible College is seeking an adjunct professor to teach the introductory college-level Marketing course for the 2013-14 academic year. The adjunct will teach the Survey of Marketing course in the Communication: Media Writing major.
This course will survey the history, key theories, core knowledge (concepts and terminology), and underling philosophies of marketing. Best practices, strategies, ethical and legal issues related to both advertising and public relations will be addressed through a biblical worldview. Persuasive skills informed by market analysis will be employed in the creation of a marketing strategy and campaign.
Candidates will meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of a BA in Communication or a related field is required
- A MA in Marketing or Advertising is preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Marketing or Advertising is required
- Higher education teaching experience is preferred
Preference is given to those who can teach between the hours of 8 am and 3 pm.
