Lancaster Bible College has a full-time faculty opening in the Education Department beginning July 2012. The position will include teaching and student supervision responsibilities. The coordination and vision for the early childhood program (PreK-4) will be primary.
Candidates must have strong experience and expertise in the following areas:
- Early childhood education
- A PhD or EdD in an educational field is preferred
- Scholarly activity in the field of education for the very young child is necessary
- Preferences will be given to those candidates with early childhood certification, previous leadership in an academic setting, and strong pedagogical skills for the classroom
- Adherence to the College’s Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Standards are required
Interested candidates should submit the following: a letter of introduction, vita, three references, a three to four paragraph essay relating to your spiritual journey, and a four paragraph summary of your educational philosophy within the framework of a Bible college to humanresources@lbc.edu.
