Checklist
As you prepare your Graduate Education application package for submission, we've provided the following checklist to assist you in tracking your application progress. After you’ve sent all the requested materials, your application will be reviewed for admission.
We encourage you to apply online on our secure site. You can also print out the application form and mail it to the LBC iLEAD Center at 901 Eden Road, Lancaster PA 17601.
Complete the Application Form
Among other things, you’ll need to provide:
- Name, address, phone number, birth date, birthplace
- Church affiliation
- Academic history
- Submit the application online or send the application form
- Submit $25 application fee
Checks can be made payable to Lancaster Bible College. Please mail payment to: iLEAD Center, Lancaster Bible College, 901 Eden Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. If you'd like to pay by credit card, please contact the Business Office at 717.560.8254. - Write an autobiographical statement
Please include your salvation experience through faith in Christ alone, developments in your spiritual growth, statement of your ministry goals, and rationale for desiring a graduate degree (View instruction sheet to learn how to specifically craft this essay). - Request References
Ask two people (three if you are applying to the Consulting Resource Teacher Program) who are qualified to evaluate your ministry/work experience and ministry/work potential to complete a reference form on your behalf. - Request Official Transcripts
Please request transcripts from the institutions through which degrees have been awarded. These need to be sent to the Graduate Education Office directly from the degree granting institution(s). Transcripts in a sealed envelope should be mailed to: Graduate Education, Lancaster Bible College, 901 Eden Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. - Computer Proficiency Form
Please complete the Computer Proficiency Form online. Feel free to contact the iLEAD Services office with any questions at 717.560.8282 or at graduate@lbc.edu. - All International Applicants must demonstrate a satisfactory level of English proficiency.
This can be done by taking the TOEFL exam at www.ETS.org/TOEFL. Make sure to add our school code: 2388. International applicants are required to score a minimum of 550 on the written version, or 213 on the computerized version, or 79 on the internet based version of the exam. - Submit Teacher Certification Credentials
Only for Masters in Education candidates – required for those pursuing the Consulting Resource Teacher Program, optional for those pursuing a School Counseling Program) This can be mailed, faxed (717.560.8265) or emailed to the Graduate Education Office at graduate@lbc.edu. - Personal Interview
Following receipt of the above items and upon approval of the Associate Dean for Master's Studies, a personal interview will be arranged with a faculty member.
After we receive your application form, we will respond by email to confirm receipt of the application and to remind you of the other application pieces that are needed.
