Description: Perhaps no book of the Bible has had a greater effect on Christianity than the book of Romans. All Christians desire to “be right” about their faith. How we live out our faith holds eternal significance. In order to be right, we must know what we believe and why. In this class Dr. Warren Wiersbe’s text will be used to refresh your understanding of Paul’s masterpiece letter to the church at Rome.

Description: Biblical hope and practical help are the goals of this course designed to give you the tools needed to help others challenged by one of over 50 different areas of human behavior. Scripture counsels that we are to bear one another’s burdens and to encourage and comfort one another. This class will help you develop the skills and abilities to offer Christ-centered answers to problems we face. 

 

ELC 210 Introduction to the Human Temperament (2 CEUs)

Course Textbook:  Why You Act The Way You Do, by Dr. Tim LaHaye

Description: 

A study of the unique four temperament theory and how it affects an individual’s life. Through a creative discovery process, the student will learn how a person’s temperament has a powerful influence on everything they do. The blending of the temperaments gives the answer to why people think, feel, and act the way they do. This course is designed to assist individuals in allowing their personality’s strengths and weaknesses to work for them in a positive way. A Biblical approach to this study will give the student insight for living a Spirit-controlled temperament.
