Graduate Education: Academics

The Graduate Education at Lancaster Bible College endeavors to be current and rigorous with our theory, but also provide relevant and rich field opportunities so that you can take ideas from the classroom and put them into action in your ministry or in the workplace.

Where Theory and Practice Meet..

..is more than just our motto. It's experienced in every course and with every professor. Both your theoretical understanding and your practical experience will be fused together for your complete education.

From a recent MEd Graduate:

"Having completed the first half of my program from a state university, I was impressed with the quality of instruction and was especially thankful for the emphasis on practical application. I enjoyed being taught by those who were currently employed in their profession. The faculty were encouraging and now that I am employed I continue to contact them to glean from their experience."

New Program Option Puts Leaders on the FAST TRACK

A new option will be available starting in the Fall of 2010 that allows you to complete our Leadership Studies Master's Program in one traditional academic year! The FAST TRACK option is designed to enable the qualified Bible College graduate to complete coursework for the Master of Arts in Ministry - Leadership Studies Concentration in the equivalent of two academic semesters (September-May), without having to relocate for study. This focused pace is achieved through these unique aspects:

Learning Cohort Approach. The formation of a learning cohort, consisting of no more than 18 students, who will participate in a blend of both online and on-campus coursework. This will allow for the flexibility to pursue the degree from any location, learning with same group of students throughout the program.

Advanced Standing for Bible College Graduates. The program is 48 total credit hours; however, the Graduate School awards advanced standing to Bible College graduates for 12 hours in Bible and Theology. That leaves only 12 program courses or 36 credit hours.
