Graduate Education: Financial Aid

Please contact the Graduate School or the Office of Financial Aid at 717.560.8254 to discuss tuition and the financial options that are best for you.

Federal and State Aid

  • Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan: This low-interest rate federal loan is available for qualified students. Repayment (principal and interest) is deferred until six months after a student graduates, withdraws, or drops below half-time status (three credits).
  • Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan: This low-interest rate federal loan has the same terms and conditions as the Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan except that the borrower is responsible for interest that accrues while in school. Students may borrow additional amounts each academic year, if need permits.

Apply Now!

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after January 1. LBC's federal school code is 003285.

Winter and Summer Terms

The winter and summer terms are separate from the standard fall/spring terms, and are too short for a Federal Stafford Loan to be processed separately for them. Therefore, if loans are needed to pay for these terms, please indicate on your Financial Aid Award Letter how many courses you intend to take during the winter/summer, and request enough loan funds to cover them. You may also contact the financial aid office during the spring semester when you have decided whether you intend to take summer courses.

LBC Scholarships

Students may apply for scholarships by completing an application. Applications must be submitted by August 1 for the fall semester, December 1 for winterim/spring, and April 15 for the summer semester.
