The annual Commencement exercises at Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007, beginning at 10:00 am in the Good Shepherd Chapel on the College campus at 901 Eden Road, Lancaster. This is the 74th annual commencement with graduating students completing degrees in Biblical counseling, Teacher Education, and Intercultural Studies, as well as several Master of Arts programs.  Students come from 24 states and 22 countries.

The Commencement speaker will be Mr. Paul Hollinger, Chief Operating Officer of the WDAC Radio Company. Mr. Hollinger began his career at WDAC in 1961 as the Station Manager, then as General Manager. He has also served as a Professor, Singer, Author, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Director, and Tour Guide.

Mr. Hollinger received a BA in History from Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA, and diplomas from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL, and Evangelical Teachers Training, Wheaton, IL.

Mr. Hollinger has written several books, including Then and Now, A History of Providence Township, History of the United Zion Church, History of Clayton Hollinger Family, Switzerland to 1980, History of WDAC, Lancaster, the First Ten Years, and A Retrospective of the Voice of Christian Radio, WDAC. He is presently working on several writing projects.

He has received numerous awards from broadcast, ministry and political associations. In 2006, he and his wife, Sylvia were presented the PA Pro Life Federation Leadership Award and the “Power of One” award from Pennsylvania Family Institute.

Over the 45 years of serving at WDAC, Mr. Hollinger has become a long time supporter of students at Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School.  It is fitting that someone so connected with WDAC ‘The Voice of Christian Radio’ be the voice to celebrate the December 2007 graduating class of Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School.
