Dedication of Esbenshade Enrollment Management Center

Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School will hold a dedication of the Esbenshade Enrollment Management Center, a progressive welcoming and administration center.  Dr. Peter W. Teague, president, will open the event at 12:30 pm on October 27, 2007, exactly 44 years after the building was initially erected. The media and community are invited to participate and see the unveiling of two unique murals in the lobby that chronicle nearly 75 years of the school’s history. The media is invited to a personal tour followed by a reception and light refreshments. Guests are encouraged to stay for the 2:00 p.m. matinee performance of Auschwitz Lullaby presented by TALENT, the school’s drama team. For details, see www.lbc.edu News & Events, Esbenshade Dedication

Named for the Esbenshade family, who donated the initial parcel of land for the college, the 15,400 square-foot building also houses the main desk and receptionist for the campus.  “We’ve intentionally centralized administrative offices that support prospective students, current students, their families and campus visitors” says Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing, Zofia Dripps. The site now houses the President’s wing, Enrollment Services, Registrar, Business Office, Financial Aid, Information Systems, Alumni Services/Ministry Relations, and Marketing. Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School has 982 students enrolled this fall.

The Esbenshade building project employed 28 contractors involving 128 employees for an economic impact of $1.7 million. John Yoder was the design-architect and Fred Raffensperger of Pusey & Raffensperger led construction and finishing. Much of the funding for this project is a result of generous gifts from donors who support the mission of Lancaster Bible College & Graduate School in developing and educating the next generation of leaders.

Enrollment Services provides a visit program for prospective students and families including tours of the campus beginning at the Esbenshade Enrollment Management Center during regularly scheduled preview days (see www.lbc.edu) or upon request.

Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School is a non-profit educational institution founded in 1933 and continues to prepare Christian men and women as leaders in the marketplace and in ministry.
