News and MediaHip Hop artists Witness and Psalmizt will perform a “Cause an Effect” concert on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 7:00 pm in the Good Shepherd Chapel on the campus of Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School, 901 Eden Road, Lancaster. This concert will celebrate the release of several short projects, and will include special guests DJ Serenity, Young Joshua, Phanatik and R Swift from Cross Movement Records. Witness and Psalmizt hope to expose the community to Christian Hip Hop and Lancaster Bible College.
Witness, aka Zane Brown, is studying Theology in the Biblical Studies Department at Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School. He was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA and has been performing Christian Hip Hop for the past four years, previously performing with All4souls with whom he recorded a compilation album entitled “The World is His.” Witness has been called to bring people into a relationship with Christ using Hip Hop music to bring the message of the Cross.
Psalmizt, aka Timothy Michael Smith Jr, was born and raised in Harford County, MD. He is a junior at Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School and became interested in Christian Hip Hop after becoming friends with Phanatik, an artist with Cross Movement Records, who also attends LBC. Psalmizt has a strong passion to serve the Lord, and is currently working on his debut album, set to be released in May of 2008.
