TALENT Drama Ministry on the Road

TALENT (Theater – Acting Language with Effective Nucleus Teams), the drama ministry at Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School, is trying something different this spring. In lieu of a traditional spring play, a small traveling group will perform a 30 minute drama in local churches and Christian schools.

Manifest, a sub-division of TALENT, will perform the drama Paradigm Shift by Richard T. Young. The story revolves around Kent, a self-absorbed business man, and Krista, a missionary kid who now teaches in an inner city school, as they enter each other’s world while trapped in an elevator together. Both change their way of thinking as they deal with life and loss.

The half hour play highlights Bible translation in Ghana as well as introducing topics such as life priorities regarding family and work, difficulties in discerning God’s will, and the need for overseas and local evangelism. A half hour follow-up program includes challenges on those topics, music, and student testimonies.

This program is under the supervision of Marcia Good, Executive Assistant, and directed by Brittany Bedford, 2007 graduate. Paradigm Shift is ideal for Youth Groups, Missions Emphasis Weekends, or Evening Services. Interested parties can schedule Manifest in February, March, or April 2008 by contacting Brittany Bedford at or 717.560.8200 x 5218.

Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School exists for the purpose of educating Christian men and women to live according to a biblical worldview and to serve through professional Christian ministries.
