This course will study Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians in which he relates the return of Christ with the rapture of the church and the judgment of those on earth. An analysis of the various interpretations of prophecy will also be included as a part of this course. 1 CEU.

Angels in the Bible: God’s Secret Angels EBD0309
The Bible teaches of the existence of two worlds: the visible, or seen, and the invisible, or unseen. In these realms, we find the existence of angels. There are over 250 references to angels from Genesis to Revelation. This course well discuss the belief in angels from a historical perspective: who are the angels and what are their qualities; fallen angels; the activity of holy angels; the Angel of the Lord; angels in the life and ministry of Christ; and, do angels still minister today. 1 CEU.

Abuse is a very challenging topic and indications of its occurance within the family are especially disturbing. The Bible has much to say about marriage and the distinct role men and women have as husbands and wives. The thought of such an evil penetrating the home where safety, comfort and trust should exist can demoralize our sense of security and well-being. Using scripture, this course will provide an overview of the issue and guidance toward resolution. 1 CEU.

Using the book of James as a reference, this course will study what is faith and how it pertains to Christianity. It will also study the Biblical concept of works and how our actions reflect our faith. Also, included in the text of the book of James are lessons on resisting evil, enduring temptation, and avoiding gossip.

This unique course will study the earthly life and ministry of Jesus as recorded in all four gospels with an emphasis on the immediate period of time in Jesus life leading up to the cross. This will include Jesus promise of the Holy Spirit, His arrest, trial, crucifixion, and resurrection. The course will also discuss society’s disbelief in these events. 1 CEU.
