2007 Self Study Document

Welcome to LBC's Institutional Self-Study web site. LBC is now in the process of its decennial reaffirmation of its accreditation with both of our accrediting bodies, the Middle States Association (MSA) and the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). This self-study is a three-year process that results in a product, i.e. a self-study report. During our self-study, LBC has been carefully evaluating our educational programs and services, paying particular attention to student learning and achievement.

The self-study process allows LBC the opportunity to show our accrediting bodies that we are indeed fulfilling our mission statement, accomplishing our institutional goals, and meeting accreditation standards. The self-study process is also a time to identify areas in which we can excel even more as an institution as we seek to glorify God and to build His kingdom.

The three links at the top of this page will take you to the Self-Study Document itself, the Document and Appendices, and the Assessment Documents.

The Self-Study Document link includes the full document chapter-by-chapter, including links within the text to the compliance documents and the appendices.

The Document and Appendices link allows you to see each chapter and section of the document along with its corresponding compliance documents and appendices. This site is convenient for accessing specific sections, compliance documents, or appendices of interest.

Finally, the Assessment Documents link allows easy access to most of LBC’s assessment documents from both academic and non-academic departments and divisions across campus.
