EndNote at LBC
Lancaster Bible College has purchased a site license to the bibliographic management software, EndNote. This software allows you to search bibliographic databases, import your results, and organize your references. You can then insert the proper citation and create your bibliography while producing your paper. Style formats for MLA, APA, and SBL are available.
You can obtain the software in a number of ways:
- A CD containing the software can be borrowed from the LBC Library,
- A CD to retain will be given to you, by visiting the LBC Library, or
- The software can be downloaded and installed on your personal computer. (LBC Password required - 34.6 MB). Download Endnote here.
When you download EndNote it will appear as a self-extracting archive file (EndNote X1 Setup.exe) on your desktop. Double click on that file to extract the files to a folder that will be created. Read the
LBC EndNote Readme (in the setup folder) for further instructions on installing and configuring the software. If you have difficulties please ask for assistance.
As new Connection Files, and Import Filters are made available they will be placed here.
