Ministry Opportunities
You can minister across the diversity of ethnic groups and socioeconomic strata of the country of South Africa. Opportunities planned include programs in schools (assemblies) and churches (Sunday services and Vacation Bible Schools), working mainly with elementary and secondary school students. The team may use music, drama and other creative means with the kids.
Depending on the make-up of the team, sports clinics of soccer or basketball are a possibility. The team will also have a chance to see some of the African wildlife and tour Johannesburg.Leader
Dr. and Mrs. Gregory are LBC grads who ministered for over 17 years in South Africa, working in church planting and theological education. Dr. Gregory is now Dean of Undergraduate Education and Mrs. Gregory is the International Student advisor at LBC.
Skills/Qualifications Needed
This trip is open to those entering their junior year in high school or older. Flexibility and a servant's heart with a desire to be stretched and grow in your relationship with God are a must.
