How to Apply

Undergraduate Program

Admissions Procedure: Applying to Lancaster Bible College is simple. Please complete the following items:

  1. Application and Autobiography

    Complete the application form and autobiography online.

    You may also click here to download a printable version of the application. If submitting a paper application, please include a 500-word autobiography giving us a brief glimpse of who you are, your reason for attending LBC, and most importantly, how you came to know Christ as your Savior.

    Upon completion of your application form, please submit your $25 application fee to the Office of Enrollment Services. If you are submitting a paper application, please include it as well.

  2. High School Transcripts

    Request an official high school transcript to be sent directly to LBC. IF you have taken the GED test, we will need the official scores sent to the College.

    Home-schooled students need to submit a transcript with courses and grades that have been completed. Also, please include your home school evaluation with transcripts.

  3. College Transcripts
    Request an official college transcript to be sent directly to LBC. Our registrar will provide you with a status sheet identifying the courses that will transfer into your program. If you have obtained 15 credits from another college that transfer to LBC, the SAT/ACT score requirement is waived.

  4. SAT/ACT Scores

    Request your SAT or ACT scores to be sent directly to the College. LBC's school codes are: SAT-2388, ACT-3707. Information concerning SAT or ACT test dates and locations is available from most high school principals or guidance counselors.

  5. References

    Upon receiving your application in the Enrollment Services Office, a packet of reference forms will be sent to you for completion. These forms can be downloaded and printed and include a pastor's reference, as well as an academic or employer's reference.

Deadline for Admissions: Apply Early! As soon as your file is complete an admissions decision will be made. Advantages to applying early include better eligibility for LBC Scholarships, Federal and State Aid, and best of all, an earlier decision for you!

  1. Early Action: Students applying for Early Action must submit the application prior to December 1. In order to be considered for a decision under Early Action, students must complete their file prior to December 15.
  2. Regular Decision: Students applying for Regular Decision must submit the application prior to March 30.
  3. Enrollment Deposit: Students must submit enrollment deposits by May 1.

                      4.  Late Decision: Deadline for Fall 2008 Semester is July 1, 2008

Degree Completion

Procedure: Applying to the Degree Completion Program is easy whether applying for on-campus or online! All you need to do is to mail or submit the following items to the DCP Office:

  1. A completed DCP application form. To download a printable version of the application click here. To complete the application online, click here.
  2. Your autobiography.

    Please write a 500-word autobiography including headings about your home life, conversion, school and employment history, church experiences, and your reasons for wanting to attend LBC's Degree Completion Program. (If using the online application, you can compose your autobiography in a Word document and cut and paste it into the online application form).
  3. Your $25 application fee.
  4. A satisfactory PASTOR'S REFERENCE. To download a printable reference form, click here. To have your pastor fill out the reference online, click here.

Note: Non-native speakers of English must submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A minimum score of 550 paper score or 213 computer score is required.
