"At the time I was a student at LBC I had already been in the ministry for 17 years. However, I had never completed my degree. So, when I learned about the DCP program and LBC's discount for people who had been in ministry for at least two years I was overjoyed to be able to enroll in the program. The school did an excellent job of working with me to transfer my credits from other schools and my military training and service. The schedule and course work of the program worked well with my ministry and family responsibilities in part because of an understanding leadership team who were supportive of my education goal."

"At graduation I was the humble recipient of the DCP Christian Ministry Award, and I want to express my sincere thanks. It truly was an honor, but I’m not sure what put me over the top, as I was surrounded by so many fellow students of outstanding character and abilities.
Completing my degree is one of the highest highlights of my life, and staff and faculty of the Degree Completion Program and LBC as an institution will forever hold a special place in my heart."

"I really enjoy and appreciate the closeness of the group. We are establishing friendships and building relationships as we go through the program. The group rallied around me this past summer as I experienced the death of my father. And now we are able to do the same for another member of the group who is dealing with the death of his mom. I just wish we could meet more often as a group, especially when times like these arise."

"I never would have imagined that so soon after completing the Degree Completion Program, the Lord would immerse me into ministry. An outcome of my DCP Christian service requirement as a Chaplain Associate at a local hospital has provided me with a unique ministry opportunity. After graduation, I accepted an offer of employment as the hospital Ambassador. An Ambassador is a patient advocate, a liaison between the patient and the hospital. As an Ambassador, I am encouraged to share my faith and provide support to patients and their families through prayer and the sharing of Scripture."
"I give all the glory and praise to our Lord who provides these experiences as He quips and anoints me for His service. I also thank the Lord for the education and spiritual growth that I experienced while attending Lancaster Bible College. Thank you for the many challenges and the deeper knowledge regarding the things of God."

"I just wanted to thank you again for everything you've done to make this graduation moment possible for me. You have no idea what my life has been like and how important this is to me. God led me to this school and though it was not easy, it was worth it. I will continue to pray for this program so that others will have the same opportunities I have had."

"The Delta class just gathered for a reunion. I can't believe it's been over a year since we finished classes. The reunion was a time to re-connect with each other and see what God is doing. Thank you for being faithful to Christ and to others. We appreciate all of the countless hours you serve in order to equip others for service."

"The Degree Completion Program made it logistically possible for me to finish my Bachelor of Science degree while serving full-time as a pastor and the Full-time Christian Worker's Scholarship made it financially possible. After graduation I was thrilled to continue to be a part of the LBC family by serving on the Alumni Council. This gave me an avenue by which to give something back to the College which had given so much to me."
Rev. J. Russell Reaves, '01
"I wanted to thank the DCP staff at Lancaster Bible College. I am currently working on my Masters of Divinity and have come to appreciate the firm foundation I received at LBC. Thanks for listening to the call of God in your lives, you have been a tremendous help in straightening out my life."

"I just wanted to let you know how much Guy and I enjoyed the DCP program and are so thankful for the time we spent at LBC! We wish every Christian would have the opportunity to have this kind of experience! At our interview with the mission board, they said that we were very thorough and quite well-grounded on our doctrinal position papers that we submitted. They added that they have had several candidates come through candidate school who had attended LBC and that this always seemed to be the case."

"I love being a part of LBC's Degree Completion Program at a time in my life when I most need the support and compassion of fellow Christians. My experiences here have been very rewarding."

"I really miss Tuesday night classes. Well, ok, not the homework, but the fellowship. There isn't a day that goes by where some aspect of what I was taught at LBC doesn't play a part."
Jack Hickey, Sr, '00
"I spent five years at another college and the profs and advisors truly didn't care about the students. Your sincerity toward the adult students who are overcoming difficult obstacles to be here is really inspiring and appreciated."

"I am writing to express my gratitude for the quality of education I received in the Degree Completion Program. This program exceeded my expectations. The staff extended their courtesies to me and were outstanding examples of Christians in the workplace. Your institution is blessed by their presence."

"The program was very challenging, but just as rewarding. The knowledge I gained through the courses changed my life and the fellowship of my fellow students and the instructors encouraged me through the program and during a very difficult time in my personal life."
