Degree Completion Program

DCP StudentsThe Degree Completion Program (DCP) is an incredible opportunity for adults who want to complete their college education and is especially designed to fit the schedule of busy people.

The Degree Completion Program is an innovative way for you to return to college and receive a biblically-based, Christ-centered education. You will also be provided with vital skills in analytical thinking and relationship-building, together with appropriate biblical content acquisition. On-campus classes meet once a week, as you proceed through the courses with the same group of professionally-minded adults who share common commitments and goals. Likewise, online cohorts engage in collaborative learning through electronic means.

  1. Complete a bachelor's degree in 15-36 months depending on the number of credits transferred into the program.
  2. Attend an on-campus class just one evening each week, or participate in weekly online learning activities at times convenient for you, which minimizes interference with work schedules and family responsibilities.
  3. Convert significant life experience into college credits by documenting past training, work, ministry-related projects and prior learning.
  4. Improve communication and other leadership and ministry skills and strengthen their position in the job market.
  5. Graduate with an accredited degree and be eligible to enter seminary or graduate school.
  6. Meet in a seminar, or online, format and benefit from the varied experiences and ideas of classmates.
  7. Attend small classes, whether on-campus or online, with the same students and develop group cohesiveness.
  8. Receive individualized instruction and specific attention to problem areas.
  9. Complete a BS in Bible degree with an emphasis in Christian Life and Ministry.
  10. Gain satisfaction from fulfilling an educational goal.

Program Emphasis: Adult Friendly

Instructional modules are scheduled in a way that allows you to fit the program into an already busy lifestyle. The on-campus modules meet from 6-10 p.m. one night per week for the 15 -36 months of the program. Students enrolled in the online program can complete their weekly assignments at times convenient to them. In both programs, students get a week off between each module. Only one module is taken at a time and each group of students progresses through the program together.
