Capital Campaign

The Capital Campaign is a campus expansion project involving the building of new facilities and the upgrading of older, current facilities. The Capital Campaign was created to enable LBC to provide the best quality Bible education possible for life and ministry service in functional facilities with excellent educational equipment.

LBC is especially committed to being wise stewards. As such, we will only build when we have the finances or the commitments needed to complete the building.

Phase I

The Good Shepherd Chapel, seating over 1200 people, was completed in May 2001. This facility provides a place of worship in our daily chapel services and facilitates academics in five available classrooms. In addition, one can pray in the private prayer chapel, and the Board Room is available for designated meetings.

The Olewine Dining Commons was completed August 2001. This facility houses a presidential dining room, two private dining rooms, a snack shop, and the primary eating area, which is designed to accommodate over 600 people. The booths inside the dining hall all accommodate laptop computers, making the dining hall an excellent after hours study location.

Peterson Hall, our newest on-campus resident facility, was completed January 2004. This state-of-the-art addition provides housing to 196 students and features three lounges, a laundry facility, and the campus Resident Director apartment, as well as a full recreation room.

Phase II

Lancaster Bible College's future needs include: a new Library, an additional Academic Learning Center, a new Worship Arts Building, a remodeled Horst Athletic Complex, a renovated and expanded Miller Hall for student campus life, and married student housing. Additional renovations in Esbenshade Hall, the current Music Building and the Administration Building all fall within this phase. Currently, planning efforts are in place, to provide these facilities by 2009, the College's 75th anniversary.
