Mail Services- If you need to expedite something to the College, be sure to check out the ground rates offered by FedEx (rate quote) or UPS (rate quote) (Staples, Kinkos, or other retail locations can ship for you). The ground service is still delivered next day if your address is within a few hours of the College. No need to pay the more expensive “overnight” price if the ground service can do it anyway! Perhaps the 2-day ground delivery time is acceptable if you live further away. You cant even get that kind of service guarantee from the Post Office, and most likely you will pay significantly less by using FedEx or UPS.
- LBC offers "Sweet Street" Creations for special occasions (Birthday, Valentines, Finals, or just a Pick-Me-Up). Check out the food/balloon arrangements they offer.
- When sending something to your child at LBC, be sure to include their LBC Box number. Delivery will be delayed if their Box number is not included. Please note that their LBC Box is not a PO Box. If it is addressed as such, it will be delayed in delivery (will get delivered to the corresponding PO Box at the Post Office, then re-delivered here after the box owner rejects it). LOCAL DELIVERIES
If you are having a florist or other local delivery to the College, please be sure to include our building location. If it is ommitted, the delivery can end up elsewhere and delivery will be delayed to the intended recipient. By including "Miller Hall" it will be given directly to Mail Services and we will get it delivered faster. Regular carriers such as FedEx and UPS already know to deliver to our building.
