CREATIVE: Viewing education as an ongoing growth process, open to creative ideas, constantly evaluating and renewing, with the freedom to take risks and be assured of team support. Hebrews 11:6.
TEAM: Able to function effectively within a team; honoring one another with a mutual respect. Christ and disciples. Proverbs.
RESOURCE: Offering all that God has entrusted to the person as a ministry resource for the betterment of others and their ministries.
EXCELLENCE: An emphasis on freeing faculty to excel in their strengths, while developing their weaknesses, so that the department will enjoy overwhelming quality.
OUTWARD-MINDED: A clear understanding of the relationship between academia and ministry, "Christian" education and biblical outreach-a rejection of the purely isolated, academic world that is irrelevant to society.
