VOCAL
Chorale - The LBC Chorale is an auditioned 50-voice choir that sings a variety of styles from contemporary to hymn tunes and classical. It represents LBC locally, regionally and internationally. The Chorale, under the co-direction of Daniel Hollingsworth and Robert Bigley, has a student council that assists in the leadership and missional intent of the group. 1 or 0 credit.
Chamber Singers - An auditioned a cappella vocal ensemble that sings everything from world music, to vocal jazz, to classical. Participants must also be members of the Chorale. The group represents LBC locally and regionally. Robert Bigley conducts the Singers. 1 or 0 credit.
"Hearts of Praise" Worship Choir - A non-auditioned choir, organized to assist in leading worship for on-campus activities, as well as assist LBC in bridging ethnic divides. "Hearts of Praise" is being expanded this year from its origin as the Gospel Choir, to allow for greater diversity and ministry. Daniel Hollingsworth, directing. 1 or 0 credit.
Small Vocal Ensembles - Smaller vocal ensembles are formed either by the department or by student initiative.
Worship Teams - Multiple worship teams are formed each year to assist in leading worship times in chapels and other school functions. Two of these teams travel locally to assist with worship in churches, camps and organizations. Dave Ross is the student Worship Coordinator with direct oversight of these teams.
INSTRUMENTAL
Masterworks Orchestra - Comprised of LBC students and community musicians, this orchestra performs major works with the LBC Chorale. Daniel Hollingsworth is the conductor.
LBC Chamber Orchestra - Designed to expose musicians to important orchestral repertoire. It will also join the Chorale for the Spain Tour in May 2008. Daniel Hollingsworth is the conductor.
Lancaster Co. Jazz Company - A brand new instrumental ensemble at LBC, playing the great hits of the swing era, as well as studies in jazz. The focus of this group is zoutreach to the local community. Dr. Gary Troxell, Daniel Hollingswo

Instrumental Ensembles - Smaller ensembles are formed either by the department or by student initiative. Sandy Johnston, coordinator.
Handbell Choir - The Handbell Choir, under the direction of Dr. Timothy Sidebothom, performs selections on three octaves of Malmark handbells.
