Shadey’s Rugged Run is a 3.5 mile mud/obstacle course designed to challenge participants as they go through water, fire, walls, mud pits, and more! Shadey's Rugged Run is being held on the campus of Lancaster Bible College at 901 Eden Road, Lancaster, PA, 17601-5036.
Unlike other mud events that charge anywhere from $20 to $40 per person just to come and watch, our spectators are totally free! We only ask for a $10 per car fee to park. So carpool and save a couple of bucks, but enjoy watching your friends and family without paying! Enjoy listening to the DJ and purchasing food from our vendors while your crazy friends and family slip and slide through mud! We have several spectator friendly areas and shortcuts for you to get there. Maps will be available the day of the event to guide you.
Enjoy music with our onsite DJ before and after the run! You can also stop by and check out Penn State Hershey’s Life Lion, which is scheduled to land and stay onsite for about an hour (unless needed for an emergency). Life Lion EMS is a Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) system which serves the local and regional community surrounding Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
There is parking on campus and the only fee we ask is $10 per car. We do not charge a spectator fee. Please have cash on hand as you enter the campus. Additional satellite parking will be available off the main road, Eden Road if needed. The fee is still $10 to park there. A complimentary shuttle will transport participants back and forth.
**Please be aware that the campus does have classes, students who live on campus and employees who work on the weekend, and that all buildings are off limits for participants.**
Much More than mud!
