The team will be working with Neues Leben (New Life) ministries with an English language camp for approximately 100 German high school age students, some Christian and some who are not. The team will be assisting with conversational English language instruction for a few hours each day, and also spending time in relationship-building and informal evangelism and discipleship.
Dates: May 27-June 12 ,2013

Options for this trip may include: work project of the Ministry Center (a medical clinic, Christian school for impoverished children, youth center w/basketball court & a place of worship). Village visits to do feedings, share the Gospel & Bible stories, action songs, games, simple crafts, simple first aid for those with skin infections & wounds, sharing devotionals or testimonies with the parents. Possible sports ministry may include basketball or volleyball games on the beach and sports clinics for the youth. Will work with individuals to meet cross-cultural requirements to graduate.

This trip, led by veteran missionaries, will include various ministry opportunities such as ESL with Thai college students, orphanage work, prayer walking, and other church-planting related opportunities.

The team will work with Hiinga, a Christian Microfinace Social Enterprise founded by an LBC graduate which is working with two village communities in Central Uganda to end hunger and poverty. The group will do door to door evangelism, interact with Hiinga farming communities, support medical personnel and visit orphanages, experience slum dwellings and visit HIV/AIDS care centers. There is a possibility of touring the area of Northern Uganda that was subject of the Invisible Children's advocacy movie Kony 2012. This trip will expose students to social justice issues and how Christians can partner with poor communities to live and preach the gospel while bringing social impact through durable solutions .

Musicians from the U.S. and Spain will lead two camps/conferences for young adults (ages 14 up) that focuses on musical instruction and performance for the purpose of establishing relationships that will lead to opportunities for spiritual challenge and input (from evangelism to discipleship). In addition, the U.S. group will provide music for an evangelistic coffee house event.
