Mission

The purpose of the Women in Christian Ministries major is to prepare women as servant leaders who are able to work in a variety of ministry contexts within the church and Christian organizations. LBC offers one of the only majors in the United States that focuses on equipping women to serve in the local church.

Outcomes

When you have completed this program of study, you will earn a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Women in Christian Ministries and Biblical Studies. We will provide multiple opportunities for you to develop personal character and ministry competencies. We will also help you discover your uniqueness as God’s daughter so that you are better prepared for the ministry you aspire to lead. You will be able to serve as a women’s ministry leader in a local church, a leader in women’s ministries in pregnancy centers or women’s counseling centers, or as a female leader of student ministries and cross-cultural discipleship opportunities.
