Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Bachelor of Science in Education
The Middle Level Education major trains student from a philosophical base which reflects a biblical worldview to serve the community as teachers in public and private schools in grade four to eight in four content specialties: mathematics, English, science, and social studies.
Students who complete this program will understand the characteristics of the middle level learner and the strategies necessary for effective instruction, whether in a self-contained or subject-centered classroom. The biblical foundation for thinking and teaching will give this graduate an understanding of current trends and programs for the middle level learner in the 21st century. You can earn a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies in this major, as well as a PA Instructional I certificate (4-8) and an ACSI Standard Certificate (K-8).
