The Women in Christian Ministry major will prepare women as servant leaders who are equipped to work in a variety of ministry contexts within the church, in Christian and non-profit organizations and in higher education environments. This unique major emphasizes both the internal character and the external skills needed to be effective in various workplace environments.
You will be provided with multiple opportunities to discover your unique design by exploring personality, giftedness, passions and talents. Leadership styles will be discussed that will prepare you to serve with men and women in meaningful and effective workplace partnerships. Career opportunities include work in church environments, non-profit organizations such as pregnancy and women’s counseling centers, student services environments in higher education, and cross-cultural discipleship ministries.
