Job Description:

The Assistant Director, Admissions Focus is a power user of CRM non-traditional programs and as such plans campaigns and monitors and analyzes data.  Works closely with the Director as well as the Recruiting and Admissions staff.  Compiles and prepares admission analyses, trends, projections, and reports to determine the effectiveness of specific events and activities. Recruits prospective students through the funnel and assists in selecting the program of study that best fits their educational needs and professional goals, and guides prospective students to enrollment.

Candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • Five (5) years demonstrated experience in a professional, multitask office environment
  • Experience in non-profit, educational environment helpful
  • Service mindset and people-centered dedication to task

Candidates will need to possess the following skills:

  • Demonstrated communication skills particularly with adult learners
  • Self-starter, flexible, and able to handle highly confidential matters
  • Must also show evidence of "goal-oriented" performance
  • A sincere interest in adult learning is a must

Candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:

Advising
  • Assist in the design and implementation of student recruitment methods and processes
  • Maintain records as-necessary for tracking prospective student and contacts
  • Serve as a liaison and advocate for adult learners in gaining needed academic, technology, financial and guidance services
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of information and orientation sessions
  • Learn the details of all non-traditional academic programs
Admissions
  • Support the successful implementation and ongoing use of the program’s constituent relationship management system (CRM) and associated systems, by monitoring, managing and supporting the communication and campaigns
  • Coordinate administrative functions associated with the CRM, including upgrades with the CRM, management of system integrations with the university’s student information system and various third-party vendors
  • Configure CRM to meet the needs of Accelerated and provide data reporting the department’s leadership to assist in the enrollment forecasting, as well as to the admissions team to assist in prospective student conversion
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive training documentation pertaining to CRM and associated processes, and train departmental personnel
  • The position supports the ongoing development and management of mixed-media, data-driven targeted recruitment and admissions communication plans executed within the CRM for Accelerated Admissions, serving prospective students, as well as other potential constituencies
  • Research communication best practices, and use techniques to maintain high quality and high converting emails and other communications within the CRM

Assist in other duties whenever called upon as needed for the good and welfare of the total College ministry.
