Job Description:

The Department of Counseling and Social Work is pleased to announce the opening of a position for Coordinator (Associate Professor) of Master of Arts in Professional Counseling program. This position will fulfill the need for a Coordinator/Faculty member within the Master of Arts in Professional Counseling major housed within the Department of Counseling and Social Work at Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School. The position will provide direct leadership to the Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and its respective concentrations including: Addictions; Marriage and Family; and Clinical.

Candidates will meet the following requirements:

Teaching requirements are 18 credits per calendar year in the MAPC program and may include but are not limited to graduate courses such as: Professional Ethics; Orientation to Counseling; Child/Adolescent Therapy; Marriage Counseling; Family Counseling; and Applied Counseling Methods.


Educational requirements are a doctoral degree (in Clinical, Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Counselor Education and Supervision (Ph.D. or Psy.D) from an accredited institution or a closely related field is required. Additionally, PA state licensure is required. The candidate should also demonstrate a high level of understanding and proficiency in: leadership, clinical practice, teaching graduate students, and have at least 5 years of post-graduate professional experience.
