Job Description:

This position exists for the purpose of supporting the development of clear, accurate, consistent, and usable online instructional materials in cooperation with digital learning staff.

Candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in print and/or digital editorial work.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience in a collaborative and/or remote work environment.

Candidates will need to possess the following skills:

  • Committed to precision, excellence, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in copyediting and proofreading.
  • Able to independently manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Able to collaborate with remote and local teams.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude for learning new processes and acquiring new skills relative to instructional technology.

Candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Collaborate with digital learning staff to review and edit online course materials for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and usability.
  • Adhere closely to industry-standard and house guides for style, formatting, and layout.
  • Assist in the assessment of course quality in accordance with institutional, accreditation, and industry standards.
  • Support the management of the portfolio of online and blended courses.
  • Regularly attend office and quality assurance team meetings locally or virtually.

Assist in other duties whenever called upon as needed for the good and welfare of the total College ministry.
