Job Description:

The Department of Church and Ministry Leadership is pleased to announce the opening of a position for a Director and Professor of Pastoral Ministry. This position will fulfill the need for a Director/Faculty member within the Pastoral Ministry major housed within the Department of Church and Ministry Leadership at Lancaster Bible College and Capital Seminary & Graduate School. The position will provide direct leadership to the Pastoral Ministry majors which include: Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and Pastoral Ministry concentrations within the Master of Arts in Ministry and the Master of Divinity majors.

Teaching responsibilities may include but are not limited to courses such as: Foundations of Leadership, The Leaders Life and Work, Personal Spiritual Formation, Pastoral Ministry, Shaping Resilient Teams, Self-Care for the 21st Century Leader, Biblical Preaching, Church Leadership, Pastoral Counseling, and Pastoral Care.

Candidates will meet the following requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctoral degree or Master’s degree with the intent to pursue doctoral work. The candidate should also demonstrate a high level of understanding and proficiency in leadership, discipleship, and have at least 8 years of professional pastoral ministry experience.
