Job Description:

This position exists for recruiting Adult Learners to the Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary and Graduate School.

Candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably from a Christian college
  • Recruiting experience although sales experience will be considered

Candidates will need to possess the following skills:

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, CampusVue (campus database) and Outlook (campus e-mail)
  • Organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Self-starter and able to handle confidential matters
  • Interest in marketing, communication, student recruitment, and adult learners
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, outgoing and ‘sales’ personality
  • Service Oriented/Excellent customer service skills

Candidates will be responsible for the following tasks:

Promotion of the College

  • Actively recruit prospects and transfer students to enroll in Philadelphia
  • Represent the College/Seminary at local, state, and national events
  • Strategize, develop, cultivate, and service relationships with feeder organizations
  • Brainstorm and provide input in the design and development of (marketing) media
  • Promote, plan, and run information sessions

Recruitment

  • Cultivate a desire in prospective students to attend LBC/Capital
  • Communicate regularly with prospective
  • Host prospective students by scheduling interviews and locations tours
  • Develop marketing strategies for recruiting students
  • Use lead information collected through various inlets to recruit students
  • Maintain regular follow-up with all prospective students
  • Speak with “walk-ins” and other prospective students interested in finishing their degree
  • Send out initial information packets to all inquiries
  • Respond to phone, email, and web inquiries. Call all inquiries. Email as needed
  • Use information from pastoral references, other student references, and lists of local churches and the churches found in national denominational lists to cultivate relationships with pastors/staff at those churches, to create additional recruiting opportunities
  • Assist in maintaining supplies of recruitment materials and update recruitment travel stands and booth set-up materials

Miscellaneous

  • Prepare reports and evaluations as directed by the Recruitment & Enrollment Manager
  • Generate monthly recruitment reports
  • Maintain prospective student database in CRM
  • Meet regularly with marketing staff
  • Reporting on demographics
  • Learn and test new recruitment strategies – receive training as needed in best recruitment practices

Assist in other duties whenever called upon as needed for the good and welfare of the total College ministry.
