This position exists for the purpose of teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the area of professional counseling and advising undergraduate students.

Education and Experience:
- A PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP accredited institution or a PhD/PsyD/Ed.D in a related field with a history of full-time college-level teaching continuously since 2013.
- 10 years of experience in clinical practice.
- At least 5 years of experience teaching at the graduate level, preferably on a full-time basis.
- Licensed in PA
- An ability to teach a wide range of graduate professional counseling classes
- A minimum of 10 years of direct clinical experience in the field of Mental Health or Marriage and Family counseling, with the ability to counsel others effectively, and a continued interest in engaging in clinically therapeutic relationships.

- Continued demonstration of ability and willingness to function fully and cooperatively within an institution of Biblical Christian higher education
- Continued enthusiastic support for the college and departmental philosophy of education and counseling.

- Proficiency with word processing, general computer skills, and LBC | Capital’s instructional technologies (i.e., Learning Management System, Video Conferencing, etc.).
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the CSW Department at a rate of 24 credits per calendar year (accrual beginning in the Fall term).
- Intentional mentorship of the BS/MA students in the form of at least one 1:1 meeting each semester. Course advising is not part of this and will be handled by other faculty/
- Continue to adhere to the mission and administration of the CSW department.
- Continue to personally update courses each semester (e.g. syllabi and Learning Management System) to maintain content to industry (and internal) standards (with dept. approval).
- Continue to attend and participate in the departmental faculty meetings and assigned subcommittees.
- Continue to attend 50% of the morning chapel services each semester.
- Periodically support CSW majors and our goal attract prospective students by participating in at least three events per year (e.g., September Retreat, NSO’s, Cookouts, etc.).
- Continue to advise undergraduate students each semester
- Continue to facilitate spiritual, emotional, and academic shepherding of students.
- Continue to develop professionally through personal study, research, and attendance professional
- Continue to seek to publish on a regular basis (as professional time allows). This could be in various forms including journal or magazine articles and books.
- Ongoing openness to other tasks as assigned for the enhancement of students and academic programing.
- Teach courses as assigned at the undergraduate, adult education, and/or graduate level in face- to-face, blended, and online format which may require teaching during the day, evening, and/or weekend
