Matt is a professor and Director of Pastoral Ministry at Lancaster Bible College. His heartbeat is to train emerging shepherd-leaders to establish, sustain, and multiply churches worldwide. Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Bible and Pastoral Ministry from Lancaster Bible College and a Master of Theology (ThM) in Old Testament and Intercultural Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He also completed his Doctor in Philosophy (PhD) in Theology from the University of South Africa. He has served in a variety of ministry roles as a youth pastor, cross-cultural missionary, pastor of preaching/teaching, and church planter.
Matt currently lives with his wife Sukey and his five children–Leila, Abigail, Khaiya, Kuyper, and Ephrem–in the city of York, PA.
