Jackie Hoover, EdD

Ms. Jackie Hoover is a 2013 Lebanon Valley College graduate. She competed on the inaugural women’s flying dutchman’s lacrosse team. In 2015, she earned her MA in Organizational Leadership from Nyack College, New York. Her interest in imagery/visualization and the impact on athletic performance prompted her thesis topic for graduating. During her first year coaching at Gordon College in 2015, she grew interest in understanding how training the mind and brain positively correlates with athletic performance. Prompting completing her EdD in Sport and Performance Psychology. Jackie provides leadership to LBC’s athletic department serving as a head women’s lacrosse force and student-athlete mental health task force member.

Currently, she is completing another master’s in clinical mental health counseling for licensure as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) within the state of Pennsylvania to offer mental health support to college student-athletes.
