Pray With Us

We’re so grateful for friends like you who pray, promote and participate in what God is doing here at LBC. Here are a few specific ways you can pray for LBC in our current season—

Pray for faculty and staff as they continue to carry out our Ready in Every Season Strategic Plan, focused on strengthening the foundation that will enable us to be the leader in collaborative, contextualized biblical higher education in the U.S. and around the world.

Pray for incoming students and families attending SOAR (Student Orientation And Registration) Day on July 25. This is an opportunity for future Chargers to interact with faculty, staff and students, visit their residence halls, and be introduced to many of the resources available to them as an LBC student.

Pray for our Student Affairs and Online Student Success teams as they prepare to welcome back students for the 2025-26 school year, both on campus and online. Pray that they will encourage students to flourish by building Authentic Community at LBC.

Pray for the Board of Trustees, meeting in August, as they steward LBC’s mission to educate Christian students to think and live a biblical worldview and to proclaim Christ by serving Him in the Church and society.

Pray for faculty members as they prepare for the fall semester, bringing Biblical Integration and Relational Education to the classroom, both in person and online. Pray that professors will help students not just study the Bible—but live it, striving to align every aspect of their education and their experience with God’s Word.

Pray for our Charger Athletics teams as they invest in student-athletes. Pray that students will experience formational mentorships and friendships as they practice and compete during the fall season.

Pray for our Office of Alumni Relations as they welcome alumni and their families to campus for Homecoming Weekend on September 26-27.
