Application Checklist

We have created this step-by-step checklist to guide you through the process of making application to Lancaster Bible College's Accelerated Undergraduate Degree program. The application process is the same whether you want to take your course of study online or in class at one of our three locations—Lancaster, Greenbelt, or Philadelphia. We are honored that you are considering applying to LBC and pray that God would give you much wisdom, discernment, and peace as you take the first step to embark on your new educational journey! This form will help us match up any scholarship opportunities and lets us learn of your personal commitment to Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

STEP 3 - Official Transcripts - of all post high school studies

Your transcripts are the key to finding out your course requirements for earning your Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree through Lancaster Bible College. Due to our writing intensive courses, language arts credits, such as English Composition, may or may not be accepted from other institutions. The transferability of your language arts credits will be dependent on your admissions essay placement result. If you have not pursued further education after High School please submit your high school/GED transcripts. See tranfer credit requirements.

In order for a transcript to be considered official, it must come directly from the school’s office either electronically or through the mail.

  • Only Official Electronic Transcript (Parchment, Clearing House, etc.)
  • Please include official CLEP/AP exam results

STEP 4 - Complete the Christian Ministry Reference

Please complete this form listing someone from your church or ministry, that is unrelated to you, such as your pastor, elder, Sunday school teacher, small group leader, or ministry supervisor to provide a reference.


STEP 5 - Test of English as a Foreign Language

Take the “Test of English as a Foreign Language” (TOEFL) or the “International English Language Testing System” (IELTS) and submit your score(s) to us at To be granted admission, the minimum score requirements for the TOEFL are 69 for internet based, 193 for computer based, and 523 for paper based or a 6.5 or higher on the IELTS.
