We are honored that you are considering applying to Lancaster Bible College’s Undergraduate Adult Education Degree program. The application process is the same whether you want to take your course of study online or in class at one of our two locations— Washington, D.C., or Philadelphia. Our step-by-step checklist will guide you through the application process. STEP 2 – Official Transcripts

Your transcripts are the key to finding out your course requirements for earning your Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree through Lancaster Bible College. Due to our writing intensive courses, language arts credits, such as English Composition, may or may not be accepted from other institutions. The transfer-ability of your language arts credits will be dependent on your admissions essay placement result. If you have not pursued further education after High School please submit your high school/GED transcripts. See transfer credit requirements.

Request your official transcripts:

In order for a transcript to be considered official, it must come directly from the school’s office either electronically, US mail or dropped off at one of our locations (Lancaster, Philadelphia or Washington, D.C.).

  • Only Official Electronic Transcript  (Parchment, Clearing House, etc.)
  • US Mail – must be received in a sealed envelope. Mailed to:

  • Personal Delivery to a LBC Location – must be received in a sealed envelope
  • Include official CLEP/AP exam results

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS only

STEP 3 – Take the English language proficiency exam.

An English language proficiency exam (TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo) is required of any non-citizen international applicant applying to LBC | Capital in order to show proof of  your English language proficiency. Proof of English language proficiency is required before the issuance of the I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status) form, which is used to apply for an F-1 student visa.

The following scores are acceptable for undergraduate admission to Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School.

Minimum Qualifying Scores:
Duolingo 95
TOEFL 69
IELTS 6.5
