9 Upcoming Events at LBC & The Trust You Need to Check Out

Looking for something to do in Lancaster PA? We’ve got you covered. Throughout the year, Lancaster Bible College and The Trust Performing Arts Center offer a wide array of events – from fine arts performances in a stately downtown venue to literally running through mud for 3.5 miles. All that said, there’s something for everyone! Check out our latest lineup of events, grab a friend and get your tickets. We hope to see you soon!

1. New York Polyphony

Location: The Trust
Dates: February 17 & 18
Tickets: $9.25 to $237

This Grammy-nominated vocal quartet based out of New York City returns to The Trust after selling out their past performances, so get your tickets ASAP.

2. Hymn Sing

Location: LBC
Date: March 3
Tickets: Free

This free event is a crowd favorite. Join us as we lift up our voices together in praise through song!

3. Seminar with 3 College Presidents on The Importance of Faith & Learning

Location: LBC
Date: March 6
Tickets: $55

Come and join us for this one-day seminar on the importance of faith and learning with three Christian college presidents! The day will feature keynote addresses from Dr. Peter W. Teague of Lancaster Bible College, Dr. Calvin Troup of Geneva College and Dr. Todd Williams of Cairn University, along with breakout sessions and lunch. 

4. Seminar on How to Help the Hurting with Chaplain John Wheatley

Location: Martin’s Crosswinds in Greenbelt, Maryland
Date: March 20

Are you a ministry leader, pastor, military personnel or chaplain? Chances are you’ve dealt with people who were hurting or navigating trauma – and you might have felt ill-equipped to counsel them. 5. Billboard Chart-Topping Jazz Group Ranky Tanky ft. LBC’s Chorale

Featured on NPR, Ranky Tanky soared to national acclaim in 2017 when their debut album soared to the #1 position on the Billboard, iTunes and Amazon Jazz Charts. Joining the band for this amazing performance is the 50-voice LBC Chorale.

6. Seminar by Dr. Hans Finzel to Help Millennials & Boomers Thrive Together

You’re invited to MillennialBOOM, a luncheon hosted by The Church and Ministry Leadership to bring together local and regional ministry leaders for a training taught by Dr. Hans Finzel on engaging in the work of God together. 

7. Shadey’s Rugged Run

Location: LBC
Date: May 4
Tickets: Prices may vary.

Shadey’s Rugged Run is a 5K mud run designed to challenge participants as they go through (and under and over) mud, water, fire, walls and more!  Nearly every aspect of your experience at race day is crafted by seniors in LBC’s sports management program. And, to make your race day even more meaningful, all of the proceeds benefit Penn State Hershey Children’s Miracle Network and LBC Athletics.

8. Christian Worldview Conference for High Schoolers Hosted By Summit Ministries

Location: LBC
Dates: June 23 – July 6

Colorado-based organization Summit Ministries and Lancaster Bible College announced that they will partner together to bring Summit’s renowned biblical worldview conferences to Pennsylvania once again in the summer of 2019. Click here to watch a video from last year’s PA session.

9. Homecoming & Family Weekend 2019

Location: LBC
Dates: September 27 & 28

Get ready for a weekend dedicated to celebrating all things LBC and family during September 27 and 28! With food, fellowship and time to rekindle friendships, we’re setting this weekend aside to bring the LBC family back together and praise God for the work He has done. More information coming soon.
