2. Meet Faculty & Students: Throughout the day, students have opportunities to meet faculty members who may be their future instructors. Some programs also have current students available to answer questions, give tours and share their experiences. This is a great chance to ask about student life, ensembles and performance opportunities.

3. Warm-Up Time: A designated space for students to warm up before their audition is provided. Students are encouraged to arrive early enough to get comfortable and prepare mentally before their perform.

4. The Audition: This is the main event. Students will perform a selection of chosen music according to the program’s audition requirements. Faculty members evaluate technique, musicality and overall potential. A short interview allows faculty to ask students about their musical background, influences and goals, as well as serves as a time for students to ask questions of the faculty.

5. Campus Tour & Program Information Sessions: A campus tour, including practice rooms, performance spaces and facilities, is provided to those interested. Meetings with financial aid and admissions representatives can be scheduled upon request as well.
