Christian Worldview Conference Returns to LBC this Summer

by LBC Marketing

Colorado-based organization Summit Ministries and Lancaster Bible College announced that they will partner together once again to bring Summit’s renowned biblical worldview conferences to Pennsylvania in the summer of 2019.

The conferences, designed for high schoolers and college students alike, help individuals to strengthen their Christian faith and understand what it means to live out a biblical worldview in a society that grows increasingly hostile toward Christian beliefs. Each conference brings in top-tier speakers and teachers, with names like Sean McDowell and John Stonestreet on the roster of events past.

“After 25 years, Summit Ministries’ impact on my life is still fresh in my mind,” Robert Blanks, assistant professor at LBC | Capital. “I can recall so many of the experiences and even the names of some of the instructors. I am overjoyed to that Summit Ministries is coming all the way from Colorado to partner with LBC! This ministry is passionate about transformation and helping us love God with all of our minds. My view of ministry was – and remains – shaped by my Summit experience.”

Student conferences are two weeks long and can be taken for three (3) college credits. Conferences in the Keystone state will be held June 23–July 6. To get an idea of what the conferences are like, check out this video.

Additionally, Lancaster Bible College will offer a scholarship of $8,000 ($2,000 per year, for up to four years) to a student who has not yet applied to LBC (but wishes to do so). Prospective LBC students must register for (and graduate from) a 12-day summer Summit Student Conference to be eligible.

Prospective students who have already applied to, or have been accepted at LBC, are eligible for a $4,000 scholarship ($1,000 per year, for up to four years) if they register for a 12-day summer Summit Student Conference by April 1, 2019. Students must graduate from the Summit conference.
