Earn a Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree in Counseling in Just 5 Years

You read that right – earn not one, but TWO degrees in counseling in just five years at Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School. Typically, it can take two to three years to earn a master’s degree in counseling. When you study counseling and therapy at LBC, you can choose from four distinct areas of concentration, each crafted to meet the diverse needs of different communities.

1. Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Degrees: Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts

Through our mental health counseling degree, students will learn about the multifactorial causes of and research-based treatments for various mental health struggles, all undergirded by a curriculum centered around biblical truth.

2. Addiction Counseling

Degrees: Bachelor of Science, Master of Education

Our Master’s of Education in school counseling program is a 48 credit program, focusing on student and program development focusing on implementing an American School Counselor Association model. Upon graduation, our students are ready to enter the field as guidance counselors and school counselors. Plus, they’ll have over 600 internship hours under their belts, emphasizing our deeply held belief in the benefits of practical experience.

3. Marriage, Couples & Family Counseling

Degrees: Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts

Throughout our masters in marriage, couple and family counseling program, students examine their own personal experiences and expectations, study the role and importance of marriage and family from a biblical perspective and learn the fundamental skills of effective counseling and therapy.

4. School Counseling

Degrees: Bachelor of Science, Master of Education
