Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School will host a fall blood drive with Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 27 in Upper Miller Hall. All those on and off Lancaster Bible College’s main campus at 901 Eden Road are welcomed to this community-wide event, as they care for their Lancaster neighbors by reserving their spot to give through bit.ly/lbcblooddrive22.
“Lancaster Bible College has a long-standing partnership with Penn Medicine in blood drive events,” shared Tricia Schlegel, RN, BSN, FCN, LBC’s Director of Health & Wellness. “LBC students, staff and faculty serve in this unique way to give back to the Lancaster community. All blood that is collected stays in the Lancaster area. This year, hosting the blood drive is particularly important as we’re seeing a shortage in blood products across the U.S. We’re blessed to be a part of this program.”
Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Blood Donor Center encourages those of proper health, age and weight to consider donating blood, as the United States is “currently experiencing dangerous shortage of blood supplies,” according to a Penn Medicine press release.
