Former White House Staffer to Speak at LBC on November 8

October 24, 2017

Tim Goeglein, former deputy director of the White House Office of Public Liaison under President George Bush and current Vice President Of External Relations for Focus on the Family, is slated to speak at Lancaster Bible College on November 8 at 9 a.m. Following his talk, “Redeeming Our Culture,” Goeglein will hold a Q&A session in an intimate setting. The event cost $10 per person.

Goeglein is perhaps most notorious for resigning from his role as an aide to President Bush after admitting to plagiarism in 2008. His fall from grace is the basis of his best-selling 2012 book, “Man in the Middle: Between Faith and Politics.”

“It’s such an honor to have a man of such influence come and speak to us about the need the gospel in American society,” said Dr. Daniel Spanjer, chair of the Arts & Sciences Department at LBC. “This is one conversation that you won’t want to miss.”
