LBC Celebrates Grads and Largest Class in College History
On May 3, 2025, LBC honored 389 graduates in Lancaster, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and online as they impact their communities and beyond. It’s not only the largest graduating class in LBC history but also the largest group of graduates walking together at one time. Graduates who received their diplomas included 156 on-campus undergraduate students, 83 online students, 80 master’s degree students, 18 doctoral students, 26 Philadelphia students and 26 Washington, D.C., students. In all, 537 students met the requirements to receive an LBC degree this year, which is also a college record. Congratulations, graduates, and thank you for hosting, Calvary Church!

A Mother-Daughter Graduation Story
Jennifer Story (’04 & ’25), Manager of Editorial Services in the Office of Digital Learning at LBC, had a unique graduation journey from the beginning. Starting at LBC in the fall of 1997, Jennifer finally graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies in LBC’s Class of 2025. Graduation = A Family Affair
The Russo family celebrated not one, but three graduating students, as Vincent (’25) earned his associate degree in Media Arts Production, Felicia (’24) her bachelor’s in Communication, and Kara (’23 & ’25) her master’s in Strategic Communication Leadership. The whole family was there to celebrate, including mom Maria, who serves in LBC’s Financial Aid Office, and LBC alumnus and dad Kevin (’01). Congrats, Russos!
41 Grads & Their Families Celebrate in Uganda
Forty-one graduates from the Class of 2025 were honored during the LBC Commencement ceremony on May 17, 2025, in Kampala, Uganda. Through a partnership with the Pastors Discipleship Network (PDN), LBC aims to equip ministry leaders across Africa to proclaim the gospel and to better serve their churches and communities. For the ninth Commencement ceremony in Uganda, Dr. Richmond Wandera (’20), PDN founder and President and a graduate of LBC’s PhD in Leadership program, inspired the graduates with these words: “Class of 2025, your years at LBC have been a time of intellectual exploration, remarkable accomplishment, and extraordinary hard work and dedication.” CONTINUE READING…
