Journey Teams: Turks & Caicos (1)

May 24, 2017

Greetings from the islands of Turks and Caicos!

Today was our first full day on the islands. We started our day by waking up early and heading to the B.E.S.T. Institute, a small Christian school. We were able to spend time playing with the kids as well as teaching them short lessons and singing songs together. It was incredibly clear that the children were being taught biblically and we enjoyed every second of our interaction with the amazing children there!

After that, we drove to the main church we will be serving at, Rock of Jesus Ministries, and got a little lost on the way - but once we arrived, we met the staff, practiced our worship set and learned about the church itself.

Later in the day we were able to rest, checked out the beautiful Caribbean Sea and had fellowship on the beach. This trip was not only about pouring love into others but it is also full of growth and encouragement from each other! The unity between each and every person on the team has already been incredible.

As we continue serving, please pray for us to allow God to speak through us as we serve churches, families and schools. Ultimately, we are here to serve and glorify God and to be His vessels as we gospel message throughout Turks and Caicos Islands.
