Say Hello to “Hello, Dolly!” at Lancaster Bible College

December 22, 2016

This January, students from Lancaster Bible College will be performing in a production of the Broadway classic, “Hello, Dolly!” The show will be held in the Good Shepherd chapel on the college’s Lancaster campus. Visit lbc.edu/events or call the Box Office at 717-560-8241 to purchase tickets. Performance times are as follows:

  • January 20 at 12:45 and 7 p.m.
  • January 21 at 2 and 7 p.m.
  • January 27 at 7 p.m.
  • January 28 at 2 and 7 p.m.

Directed by Bonnie Bosso, LBC’s production of “Hello, Dolly!” tells the tale of socialite and matchmaker Dolly Levi in 1890s New York City, and features classic show tunes like “Put on Your Sunday Clothes” and “It Takes a Woman.” Samantha Ingram, a freshman studying musical theatre at LBC, will play the title character. “People should come see this show because it's such a classic,” said Ingram. “It's family-friendly, so fun and the music is awesome and catchy! It's a funny show, too, so hopefully we'll be able to give people the laughs they need.”

“It is such a joy to spend quality time with the students of LBC to realize this classic theatrical story,” said Bosso, director of LBC’s musical. “We’d encourage the local community to put on their Sunday clothes and join us for one of our performances! It’s going to be an incredible show.”
