LBC Hosts Homecoming & Family Weekend 2017

Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School is set to host its annual Homecoming & Family Weekend, a two-day celebration of the college’s history, alumni and students. The events will take place during September 29 and 30 at the college’s Lancaster campus, located at 901 Eden Road. As a part of the celebration, renowned comedian Michael Jr. will be performing a comedy set on September 29 at 7 p.m. For tickets to the show, visit lbc.edu/events

The lineup of events for Homecoming & Family Weekend includes plenty family-friendly activities, like:

  • Fireworks
  • Performances of the college’s fall play “Pride & Prejudice
  • Food
  • Class reunions
  • Lectures
  • Mechanical bull
  • Inflatables for kids
  • Men and women’s soccer games
  • Crowning of LBC’s 2017 homecoming king and queen

“We are thrilled to welcome our graduates, current students, their families and the community to this year’s Homecoming & Family Weekend,” said Dr. Peter W. Teague, president of Lancaster Bible College. “It’s always a treat to reconnect with alumni, meet our neighbors and share the beauty of our campus and the work that God is doing at LBC.”

“This celebration is going to be a can’t-miss event,” said Rodney L. Carter Jr., a 2015 graduate of the college and director of alumni at LBC. “Between the Michael Jr.’s comedy, the food, fireworks and fellowship, it’s going to be a weekend to remember.”
