LBC I Capital to Host Lancaster Graduation

May 3, 2017

Lancaster Bible College I Capital Seminary & Graduate School will celebrate the graduation of over 180 students from its undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs with a commencement ceremony at its Lancaster campus on Friday, May 12. The ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. inside the Good Shepherd Chapel. Due to the facilities’ limited seating capacity, the event is not open to the public. For those unable to attend, the Lancaster commencement ceremony will be streamed live online at 2 p.m. on the day of the event at lbc.edu/graduation

The keynote speaker for the Lancaster ceremony is author and pastor Wayne Cordeiro. A prolific author known for his popular titles like “Leading on Empty,” and “The Divine Mentor,” and the founding pastor of Hawaiian megachurch New Hope Oahu, Cordeiro is also the first person to earn a ever Doctor of Ministry degree from the college.

The college will celebrate the graduation of approximately 180 other students at its four other sites in May and June, including a group of pastors in Uganda earning the Master of Arts in ministry degree through a partnership with Pastor’s Discipleship Network, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to training and equipping African pastors.

“It is such an honor to celebrate this special occasion with our graduates each year,” said Dr. Peter W. Teague, president of Lancaster Bible College, “They work diligently toward this day for many years and we are more than proud to welcome them into our alumni family!”
