LBC Presents "Pride & Prejudice"

September 7, 2017

Students at Lancaster Bible College are set to perform the Jane Austen classic “Pride & Prejudice” at the college’s Lancaster campus, located at 901 Eden Road. Tickets for the show range from $10 - $15. Show times are as follows:

  • Friday, September 22 at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 23 at 2.p.m. and 7 p.m.
  • Friday, September 29 at 1 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 30 at 7 p.m.

The show, based on the beloved novel by English author Jane Austen, tells the tale of Elizabeth Bennet (played by vocal performance major Rebekah Hill) who meets the dashing Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy (portrayed by communication major Derek Bigley), the richest man in the county. The two begin a humorous and prejudiced friendship that tries her good sense and makes her realize that first impressions are not always trustworthy

“This is one performance you won’t want to miss,” said David Felty, program director of musical theatre at the college and director of the show. “Seeing our incredibly talented students bring Jane Austen’s piece to life is inspiring!”
