Lancaster Bible College understands the importance of Christians who think and live a biblical worldview holding leadership roles in our culture. From the undergraduate to doctoral level, either in-person or online, LBC offers several leadership degrees to equip students to make impact in ministry, business, education and their community.
LBC also recognizes that our world needs leaders who are rooted in wisdom and truth. In fact, Psalm 78 reminds us that King David was called from shepherding sheep to “be the Shepherd of his people, Israel,” leading them with “integrity of heart and with skillful hands.” Leadership is a multifaceted strand, but at its core are three threads: calling, character and competency.
With those biblically based leadership ideals at heart, Lancaster Bible College President Dr. Tommy Kiedis debuted today, Oct. 6, 2025, a new 60-second radio feature titled, “Forging Your Leadership.” With a different spot airing each week on WDAC, known for nearly 60 years as the “Voice of Christian Radio,” “Forging Your Leadership” contains nuggets of biblical wisdom for leaders. The radio features will also air on WDAC’s sister station WBYN. Between the two, listeners are reached around southeastern Pennsylvania and into northern Maryland.
Each week, Dr. Kiedis will refer listeners to lbc.edu/leadership, which highlights LBC’s six online leadership-centric academic programs:
- Ministry Leadership (BA, also on campus)
- Master of Arts in Formational Leadership
- Master of Arts in Strategic Communication Leadership
- Doctor of Ministry in Strategic Leadership
- Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership
- PhD in Leadership
