Where do I check my LBC email?
  • Either type into your browser or click on that hyperlink. Your user name must be followed by  Your password should have already been issued to you in a letter you received upon successful enrollment or hire.
  • You can also click on Email/OneDrive/Calendar in the student portal or Outlook – Calendar/Email in the employee portal and then enter your credentials

I can't log in to MyLBC, what now?
  • If you are having trouble logging in to MyLBC:
  • Check that your credentials are correct; you will use your full email address to login to MyLBC.

  • Be sure that the printer is on.
  • Be sure that you are selecting the correct printer when in the print options menu.

The computers on campus are asking for a user name and password. What should I use?
  • You should use the login name and password you were issued with a successful enrollment or hire.
  • Be sure that the CAPS lock is turned off on the computer.

Can I get help for using or installing LOGOS software?
  • All support requests for LOGOS software need to be directed to Faithlife/LOGOS Bible Software by visiting or by calling 800-875-6467.
Where can I find help for using Hallways software?
Are there other online tools available to me as a student or employee of LBC?
  • All LBC students and employees have access to Microsoft Office Online for document, spreadsheet, or presentation creation and editing. Each user is given 1 Terabyte of cloud storage!
  • To access these resources, navigate to and sign in with your LBC email and password. Click on the “One Drive” link at the top of the page and click “New” at the next page. Select the type of file you would like to create (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and choose a name.

I think I may have malware/spyware/virus on my computer. What should I do?


How do I log in?

Where can I learn more about Canvas?


  • Canvas is easy to use, but it does require taking a little time to learn the new system. When you receive access to Canvas, you will be enrolled in an online, self-paced module called Canvas 101. In one hour or less, it will guide you through all the basics you need to know to navigate, communicate, and use Canvas to submit assignments, engage in discussion forums, and take quizzes/tests.

LBC Wifi Access

How do I connect to WiFi as a faculty member, staff, or student?
  • If you are a campus guest trying to access WiFi, see FAQ #2 LBC guest WiFi.
  • Current Faculty, Staff, and Students: please follow these instructions (pdf).
  • Faculty, Staff, and Students with Android or iPad tablets: connect to the “LBC” network and under properties enter your username and password before tapping “connect”.
How do I run WiFi certification on the Lancaster campus?

If your laptop and/or tablet runs Windows 7, begin at step 1. For all other operating systems (Mac OS, Windows 8, Windows 10 etc.), begin at step 2.

  • Download and run the following file: Add LBC WiFi Network (if your browser displays a warning, ignore it and save/run the file).
  • Once you arrive at the Lancaster campus, click on the wireless network icon on your desktop/system tray and select the “LBC” wireless network.
  • When prompted, log in with the username and password provided to you in your welcome letter. If you do not have your welcome letter, or have forgotten your password, please use the Lookup Tool.

If you need help with any of these steps, please bring your device to the Helpdesk in Lower Esbenshade, Mon-Fri 8 AM to 4 PM.

Is WiFi available to guests on Lancaster or Washington DC Locations?
  • Guests on our Lancaster or Washington DC locations can access the internet through our guest internet services.
  • This connection is not secure, so we do not recommend that you use it for the transmission of sensitive data like banking or personal information.
  • Not all mobile apps ( such as games and certain messaging apps) will work due to network security policies in place on campus.
  • On the Lancaster campus, connect to the “LBC Guest” network on your device, open your internet browser and type When the page loads, follow the on screen prompts for registering or logging in as a guest.
  • For the Washington DC location, information is available at the front desk.
  • Please note that the guest network is not authorized for use by current students of LBC.

The Information Systems Department of Lancaster Bible College exists to serve the employees and students of LBC through the development, implementation, and maintenance of technology solutions, policies, procedures, and standards.

Within those functions, our ministry is to assist and enable the greater mission of Lancaster Bible College: to educate Christian students to think and live a biblical worldview and to proclaim Christ by serving him in the Church and society.
